native New Yorker, Sharon grew up going to theatre and
museums, and built a highly developed sense of aesthetics.
She grew to become nationally recognized, with work
shown around the country. Sharon is a graduate of the
world famous Yale School of Drama where she earned an
MFA in Technical Design and Production. Starting her
career in professional theatre, she built props. For
almost 20 years, she earned her living from her creativity
in a variety of environments. Whether building a prop
or a mask, creating jewelry or a hat, or decorating
a set, she has always thought of it as sculpture. It
has always been about crafting a reality of someone's
vision, focussing on the details. |
