This is how it all began. In 1962, Scott Robinson decided to open the first automobile dealership on Hawthorne Blvd. The name of the store was Scott Robinson Pontiac. Scott Robinson was a simple man whose main goal in life was to provide for his family. Scott had worked for General Motors since the late 1940's and found an opportunity to relocate his family to the South Bay . Torrance was a rapidly growing city in the early 1960's and Hawthorne Blvd. was ready for development.
