SVB strives to create a fun, productive environment
for Boston singles to connect. SVB is an alternative
to bars and dating services for single professionals
who want to meet one another while performing worthwhile
services in the greater Boston community. In doing
so, SVB provides singles with the opportunity to impact
their community, and environment in a tangible way.
SVB offers "one time" volunteer opportunities
to 10 or more volunteers at a time. These projects
can be anything from answering phones during a telethon
to staffing blood drives, or cleaning zoos and parks.
Events last anywhere from 2-5 hours and are followed
by a social event at a local restaurant or pub where
volunteers can continue to get to know one another.
