Cheap Disney Hotels
Cheap Disney Hotels Tips and Info
If you want to be part of the Disney MAGIC, but you are on a
budget, by all means stay at one of the Value Resorts. These are
the Cheap Disney Hotels: All Star Movies, All
Star Music, All Star Sports, and Pop Century. These themed resorts
- from the rooms to pools, playgrounds, and restaurants - are
fun for the whole family. You should know that the Value resorts
are 3-star hotels, so don't expect a 5-star property. The rooms
are small but adequate, the bathrooms extra tiny. Watch the Disney
website for deals, especially in the off-season, and don't hesitate
to call a specific hotel and ask if they have any current specials.
Keep aware of other sources too, like travel agents, promotions
sent with your Disney Visa card statement, and travel sites like
Expedia. You can save some money but still be part of the MAGIC
when you stay at one of the Downtown Disney hotels right next
to the resort area; from the upper floors on the resort side you
may be able to overlook the parks and even watch the fireworks.
If you are a member of AAA, AARP, or are in government or military,
a teacher,or nurse, ask if the hotel has any discounts for those
groups.
How cheap is a cheap Disney hotel? You can often get a single
room for a family of 4 for under $100/day. If you want to know
what guests think about their stay at the cheaper Disney hotels,
check hotel reviews before you reserve. The most current reviews
are the ones to listen to. If there are complaints from a year
or two ago, it is a good sign if later reviews show the problem
has been taken care of. One thing to keep in mind: Florida is
a hot, humid climate, which can be very hard on buildings and
furnishings. Renovated is a good word to look for, especially
in older hotels. Do make sure the renovation has been completed
- or at least completed in the area you are staying.
