How to select a Walt Disney World Vacation Package

Many times the best Walt Disney World vacation package is offered by Disney itself. But you have to know how to get it! Of course you will check for special offers on the Disney World website. But be sure to also sign up for the Disney Visa Card; members often learn of special offers that are made from time to time. If you wish to be a frequent Disney World guest, try to participate in a survey or special tour while there - and give your email address for receiving special offers. If you are an AAA member, be sure to check out their Walt Disney World vacation packages. The AAA package even includes a special parking pass that lets you park right up front near the gate! If you have a stroller, this is handy to not have to get on the tram.

If you plan to be a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World, part of the fun is to experience the different resorts. Families with young children especially enjoy the resorts themed especially to children's interests, which are the All Star Movies, All Star Sports, All Star Music, and Pop Century. Be aware that these rooms allow a maximum of 4 guests per room (5 if infant under 3 in crib). These are the least expensive of the resorts and are known as the Value Resorts. The next step up up are the Moderate Resorts, which include Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside, Caribbean Beach, and Coronado Springs. The Deluxe Resorts, which tend to cater to a quieter crowd, are Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk Inn & Villas, Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and Yacht and Beach Club (the last of which share a very nice water park).
