Chapel in the Clouds,
Stratosphere
My
wife Pamela and I chose the Chapel of the
Clouds in Las Vegas for our wedding venue.
This is the highest wedding Chapel in the United
States, and believe me on this, the view truly is
just as stunning as the Chapel in the Clouds claims.
One thing that might not be readily
apparent is that the Stratosphere Tower has many
different floors at the top of the tower. More events
happen at the top than one might imagine. The Chapel
in the Clouds is a private, secluded area away from
the hustle and bustle of the rest of the attractions
at the top of the tower. In fact other than a little
noise from the roller coaster and ride at the top
of the tower, you won't be bothered by anyone or
any other simultaneous events that may be happening
at the top.
The reason we chose the Chapel
in the Clouds is simple: The location was perfect,
the view was stunning, and the cost was right. In
fact we chose the simple and least expensive "Say
I do at the top" package. This package does
not even include use of the Chapel of the Clouds
itself, although on our wedding day they offered
it to us anyway at no additional charge (it was
cold at the top that day and most people really
didn't want to go outside anyway). We gladly accepted.
Once you're wedding has concluded
you'll definitely want to eat at the Top of the
World restaurant at the top of the tower. The tower
rotates while you eat, and you'll get one of the
best views in all of Las Vegas as you take in your
dining experience.
There are many great Chapels from
which to choose in Las Vegas, but the Chapel in
The Clouds offers one of the most unique experiences
you'll find anywhere in Las Vegas. Hats off to all
the people at the Stratosphere who do such an outstanding
job with making each wedding a unique and unforgettable
experience. The Chapel in the Clouds is strongly
recommended — take it from two people who
will treasure the memories made that day on the
top of the Stratosphere tower.
