Is
it possible to make money online without ever selling
a single product of your own? That was the question
I set out to answer when I read Rosalind Gardner's
"Super Affiliate Handbook."
After 20 years of working as an air traffic controller,
Rosalind Garnder had grown tired of her job and set
out to start a business of her own. In just 5 years,
with no prior experience with affiliate marketing,
Rosalind has grown her income to $435,000+ per year.
In her down-to-earth, sincere and often humorous
style, Rosalind Gardner guides you through the entire
process of building an affiliate marketing business
on the 'Net. In 236 pages, and more than 68,000 words,
you'll learn how to pick the best programs, negotiate
a commission raise and save time, money and effort
on everything from affiliate software to web hosting.
So why is affiliate marketing so profitable? First
and foremost, it costs virtually nothing to get into
affiliate marketing. All you need is a web site and
a domain
name, which you can get these days for
about $100 a year. Second, you don't need a business
location; you can easily run this business from a
home office. With only your first couple affiliate
sales your business will be profitable. What could
be better than that?
Some people run their entire affiliate business without
even having a web site at all. They opt to use pay
per click advertising programs such as Yahoo Search
and Google Adwords to promote other people's products.
If you are interested in affiliate marketing without
having your own web site then you'll want to check
out Chris
Carpenter's Google Cash, which is without
question the best guide available on how to promote
affiliate products through pay per click advertising
programs.
As you probably already know by now, I set up and
try every business opportunity I recommend, and Rosalind
Gardner's program is no exception. I have hundreds
of web pages on the Internet promoting affiliate products
and services and they are making me money every single
day. Like most other forms of Internet Marketing,
the more pages you make, the more money you earn.
If you'd like to see one of my affiliate sites you
can take a look at my Grand
Canyon Explorer web site. I have a passion for
travel and have been to the Grand Canyon several times
in my life. I enjoy the Canyon area so much that I
decided to make an entire web site about it. And of
course — you guessed it — the focus of
my Canyon site is affiliate marketing.
It may not be readily apparent, but there are at
least eight affiliate links on every single page of
this site (over 200 affiliate links total). Note the
two affiliate links under the navigation area on the
left of each page, five affiliate links on the right
side of every page, and my Orbitz travel affiliate
link at the bottom of each page. I also creatively
worked in affiliate links throughout the body copy.
To top it off I also incorporated two Google Adsense
ads on every page. That might sound like a lot of
advertising (and it is) but the appearance of each
page is not cluttered — working your affiliate
products tastefully into each page should be your
goal.
I have many businesses and multiple streams of income,
and affiliate marketing is just one of the things
that I do. There are numerous others who have turned
affiliate marketing into a full time income. If you
want to start making money with affiliate marketing,
or if you want to increase revenue from the affiliate
marketing efforts you already have going, Rosalind
Gardner's Super Affiliate Handbook offers
something for beginnings and experts alike. Tip: If
you currently do or plan to do affiliate marketing,
you must have a software package
called Affiliate Cloaker. Affiliate
Cloaker stops virtually all forms of affiliate commission
theft. See Affiliate
Cloaker web site for details.
